Documentation Required

Firstly, the three pieces of documentation each driver MUST bring are:

​

  • Valid photocard driving licence (if you have the older, paper style license then please bring a valid photo ID also such as a passport)/

​

  • A proof of address dated within 30 days (if you don't have a printed bill, an email invoice/bill will suffice as long as your address is on there).

​

  • Valid DVLA check code (UK license holders only). This can be obtained by clicking HERE

​

  • Valid passport (International license holders only)

Collection & Return Times

Collection time is strictly 1pm.

Return time is strictly 11am.

​

Be aware that you may miss your collection slot if you are late therefore it is extremely important to adhere to the times above. & penalty charges will apply for collections/returns outwith these times.

​

Early collection/late returns are rarely available throughout the busy months due to our tight turnaround schedule. 

 

If an early collection or late return is available to you, we will notify you and offer this at an additional fee.

Optional Extras

  • Insurance Excess Reducer - The standard security deposit and excess is £750, you can reduce this to £250 by taking out or Excess Insurance Reducer - £20 per day

​

  • Sleeping pack - Consisting of a 250gsm sleeping bag, pillows & pillow slips (all items are returnable at the end of your hire) - £20 per person

​

  • Full Gas Guarantee - our vans come with a bottle already connected. You can choose to have the bottle as left by the previous customer or alternatively you can guarantee a full bottle (Please be aware that if you choose to have the bottle as left by the previous customer, there is a risk that you will run out and have to purchase gas whilst you are on hire) - subject to availability, please book in advance - £70

​

  • Additional drivers - the policy includes 1 main driver, you can add another 2 drivers - £10 per driver, per day

​

  • Customer Airport Transfer - contact for prices

Customer Parking

We're delighted to offer FREE & secure car parking for you whilst you are on hire and we can allocate space for one car per reservation. 

​

Alternatively, we also offer a free train station customer collection service from Wishaw Train Station - just call us to let us know!

​

Please note that vehicles & their contents are left entirely at the owners risk and The Wee Camper Co cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.

Can I Choose My Camper?

Unfortunately due to our busy and ever changing hire schedule, we are unable to guarantee which vehicle you will be collecting.

​

However, we are confident that you will love your campervan regardless of the badge!

​

Our Renault and VW campers are all equipped exactly the same and each of our vans has it's own personality inside.
